Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service January 15, 2014
Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. once said,
“Life’s most persistent and urgent question is: “What are you doing for others?”
Rocky Mountain Youth Corps encourages a fresh start to a new year by serving our community and neighbors in a positive and fulfilling Day of Service. “This day of service empowers individuals, strengthens communities, bridges barriers, addresses social problems, and moves us closer to Dr. King’s vision of a ‘Beloved Community.'” In celebration of the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther Kings, Jr., Rocky Mountain Youth Corps’ AmeriCorps members will partner with Senior Corps Members of Ancianos and the Taos Pueblo Senior Program to dialogue about service, social justice, and volunteerism across the generations and stand UNITED in SERVICE.
